Circle housing money

Circle Housing Money was a credit union for tenants of Circle Housing; at the time, one of the UK’s largest providers of affordable housing.

At a time of positive disruption in the consumer finance sector (Wonga, Metro Bank and so on), Circle Housing Money was launched to provide easy access finance to its tenants.

Based around four key tenets (human focused, moving forward, better together and efficient) a new brand was envisaged and a suitably human-centric visual language developed.

The colour palette offered stand out amongst the competition and clarity of language and functionality across materials was paramount.

Ultimately, Circle Housing Money was such a success that the business was bought out by Clarion Housing.

Language was friendly, approachable and clear at all points and key offers were highlighted throughout with easily understandable icons.

Collateral produced included an website with simple tools to allow users to quickly and easily see how their desired borrowing would translate into repayments (something which was quite revolutionary at launch), as well as a vast range of printed marketing collateral including a suite of product brochures and application forms.
